Spence Engineering Company, Inc., Walden, New York announces their new “Doctor” Series MD Control Valve for exceptional performance mixing or diverting dirty or viscous liquids, gases or steam. Dual port and balanced plug design provide smooth, high pressure control and permit use of compact actuators for installation in tight spaces.

Vibration and plug deflection are minimized by the rigid support of the Doctor’s top and bottom stem guiding. Even with high pressure drops, proper seating is ensured. The Doctor’s capacities are as much as 40% higher than competitive valves due to the reduced turbulence in the open body configuration.

Spence Doctor Control Valves are available in Cast Iron, Steel and Stainless Steel through 12" with multiple actuator and trim options for a wide variety of applications including Process Control Systems, HVAC Systems, Feed Water and Fuel System Controls in Boiler Rooms and Packaged Systems (OEM) such as heat exchangers, water purification systems and vaporizers, metal cleaning and plating.
